蜂蜜千層蛋糕普普通通，不值這個價錢。

原本都買招牌起色跟手工千層蛋糕，意外因為加購達克瓦茲騎士後來整個愛上，要冰冰的吃，焦糖真的超好吃。

Very delicious ！

The cake tastes flat. And the sellers were very RUDE, perhaps because I couldn’t speak Chinese and maybe they didn’t speak English as well. But that’s not an excuse to treat a customer very IMPOLITE. I want to give zero star but one star is the lowest score.

提拉米蘇意外的好吃

Bare with me. There’s a reason this place deserves a zero rating.

I was first interested at their Spekkoek (they label it “Dutch Layered Cake”), which is actually Indonesian layered cake. I wanted to make sure it is actually what I thought. I’ve been craving this Indonesian cake since I left the Netherlands. I was hoping they would have a smaller sized cake that I could buy. Just in case if it wasn’t the cake that I wanted, I wouldn’t have to waste an entire large cake.

The woman clerk seemed annoyed when I told her it is actually Indonesian. She immediate rebutted it by saying they make it the Dutch way as if Indonesian way is not good enough. I was a little surprised how she responded so rudely. I told her I was living in the Netherlands. Even the Dutch people make it the Indonesian way and when they don’t, usually they taste bland. She immediately say “well I think Indonesian cake taste horrible.” I was quite offended even though I’m not Indonesian (I am Taiwanese who grew up abroad). She reminds me of few Taiwanese people who think anything European is automatically superior compared to Southeast Asian’s. I was about to buy the cake actually. I simply told her I just wanted to make sure it tastes authentic otherwise i don’t want a bland cake.” She then rudely said “Well you can buy other cakes.”

I was quite shocked with her arrogance and rudeness. I rarely ever give out bad ratings. I prefer to only review places that deserve great reviews and just ignore the ones that are horrible. However, today I’m compelled to write this review because I found it was just the service was rude. The sales person ( could be the manager) was so prejudice against Indonesian. This is not an uncommon thing in Taiwan I think. Somehow there is a few who think anything in Southeast Asia is inferior forgetting that Taiwan is part of Southeast Asia.

Rudeness alone is one thing, but when arrogance and prejudice are added, it is simply intolerable.

I’m not trying to convince anyone not to shop here, but I just think it should exposed. And I will never shop here ever.
