I will say as a local Taipei person that crazy about izakaya, this place has the best Yakitori without questioning, absolutely the best, and you can tell by the tenderness, juiceness and the flavour of their Yakitori. The flavour won’t lie, it honestly report the efforts and the techniques of chef. I know someone may argue about their policy of service charge( they don’t charge that but replace by a homemade starter dish), if you have problem about that, you can certainly ask the staffs, they are absolutely friendly. And not mentioning the brilliant vibe in this izakaya, the owners always buy lots of drinks to their customers on their treat.

極差的一次用餐經驗
明明就有預約8點的訂位，到達時店員告知前一組晚到所有要等一下，這個「一下」等了40分鐘，其中甚至還被連續告知好幾次「8點不可能訂位啦」「8點沒有辦法」「不然怎麼辦？總不能趕客人走，還是你們要下次再來？」讓我們無比傻眼
整間店煙霧瀰漫，客人在室內抽煙、抽雪茄都無所謂，吃完一趟都覺得眼睛和呼吸不舒服了
此外，他們的串燒價格都是以1支為單位，我們開頭點了2支燒烤串，再繼續點其他的，結果店員將後面所有餐點都寫了2份，我們到結帳才知道⋯吃下來cp值超低，一個人都要千元起跳
最後 開頭的小菜最好先問清楚要不要錢，一上菜他們什麼都不會講⋯

氣氛很不錯，但是沒有限制不能吸煙，所以隔壁桌在抽煙的時候會有點困擾，生意很好，所以上菜比較慢，有時候會被忘記
Be careful of what they bring to your table. The little tri-dish pickle plate is not complimentary but it’s like a cover charge of $200 per head. If you bring your own drink, although no corkage fee, the ice they brought you will cost another $200 per head. Most unbelievable is how they shamelessly bring a cup over to you table and asked for free drinks from the bottle that we brought to restaurant until they empty your bottle. Anyway, before you pay, always remember to check the “BILL” thoroughly as they tend to add more dishes than what you actually ordered. Oh, lastly, there’s freaking 10% service fee. What a disappointing night, and for sure we will never ever come to this sxxxhole again even if I win the lottery! Worst place to visit in Taiwan!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
很有日本居酒屋感覺
老闆跟老闆娘很好 會帶氣氛，價格比較高但可以喝的超級開心
每一道都蠻好吃的，飯糰很特別，必點！
老闆很親切風趣，坐吧臺可以聊天。
人不算少，建議要先訂位。
喝酒、吃肉，聊屁話的好地方，老闆也很會玩活動。

超不誠實的黑店 請大家小心！

Fun if you’re celebrating anything: a birthday, anniversary, a break up. You will probably end up drinking goalian. Atmosphere trumps the food quality.

Good food and ambiance, but …
The moment you sit down you get an appetizer, without being asked. This is 150 NT per person added to your bill unannounced.
We got two dishes that we didn’t order, don’t mention it and they will be added to your bill.
On top of this they make an issue and try and convince you you made a mistake in ordering.
Lastly, a 10% service fee (!) is added to your bill without the fee being mentioned on the menu.
Very, very un-Taiwanese…
[EDIT] Make sure to check your bill! Looking at other reviews I can see so many people mentioning their bill not being correct or unintelligibly written so you have no clue what is in there.

前菜是要付錢的喔，所以如果不想吃可以退回，
因為一盤150有點貴！
老闆言語不尊重女性，而且cp值很低，強迫加收前菜的錢，東西很普通。

優點：點的東西幾乎都不錯，氣氛也很嗨
缺點：
1.玉子燒不是日式那種，就是普通煎雞蛋味；
2.不知道為什麼一定要每人點一份150元的小菜，我可以接受低銷，但強迫小菜我真心不懂；
3.有貼禁煙標示但還是有人抽煙，裡面炭火味已經很濃了，再加上菸味真是一絕；
4.結帳價格真的很驚人，建議口袋不深的可以先去旁邊吃拉麵再過去

Fantastic place for birthdays but expect to REALLY drink. They will publicly humiliate you, give you drink after drink, tons of free food… They really pull all the stops. Great place to bring 10+ people and party. Really good food, and the owners are very outgoing and relaxed. The whole place is decked out in really traditional Japanese decorations and old photos and their BBQ grill is massive and fun to watch.
