Go there for only South Indian delicacies. One and only most authentic South Indian restaurant in Taipei. Highly recommend it. It’s simple small restaurant so you may have to bear with average service but I guarantee the South Indian food will compensate for the service. Highly recommend it 😊
@owner- authentic biryani you make on the weekends are really good but small suggestion will be to increase the quality and also to add some chicken breast pieces. You give only one leg piece which does not justify the price. Just a small feedback hope you take come action.
Cozy and neat; fairly decent South Indian fare, even though expensive (which can be overlooked considering that it is a once in a while treat for those of us who miss home). All in all, a place to go if you desperately miss a hot crispy dosa and have no means to make some yourself…

Good food! Good service!
Food is good, reasonable price. But I feel the side dishes like sambar and chutney are provided in less quantity.
Good food but very expensive. Try once those who wanted taste indian dosa and idly. Tea was very bad worthless I didn’t like it, one of the worst tea in my life .

店員很熱情的介紹南印和北印料理的差異。餐前先來一份涮嘴的pani puri開胃。
butter chicken味道濃郁，雞肉煮的很軟很入味，palak paneer菠菜和印度乳酪口感溫和適合不敢吃辣的人。
吃咖哩一定要配餅🫓，大推他們家的DOSA，現點現煎的DOSA有米的發酵香氣，沾著各種咖喱醬汁，一片真的不太夠！
飯後記得來一份吸飽玫瑰糖漿的溫熱乳酪球！
這裡的餐點，讓我一秒回到那年的印度旅程！推～～～

I love their Chettinadu Chicken curry
Food is delicious and Authentic South Indian Taste
The only south indian restaurant in TP, that I know of, as of now. Southern can be Super spicy, but this place is NOT spicy, so for ppl like me who can’t take spicy foods, it is SAFE to try. If you don’t know the difference btwn northern and southern indian food, then you have got to come and try. I’m not going to ruin the surprise for you. Start with a dosa, and you’ll know it’s authentic.
終於在台北找到了南印度的味道。以前台北的印度菜都是北印度風味，唯一有點南印度味道的就是馬來西亞蕉葉。我認為這需要一段時間，但我期待與您合作。

This place was recommended by an Indian friend and I can confidently say: My favorite Indian restaurant in Taiwan and even one of the best I tried anywhere in the world outside of India, went here many times and it was always great. The interesting touch is the focus on South Indian cuisine, so there are many dishes which you might never have seen elsewhere. Affordable lunch options.

Really appreciated to deliver food in this level 3 situation, even up to 18 km (Amma’s kitchen to Taishan, New Taipei City). Food was so good with enough quantity and quality. More importantly, it was delivered in on time. Thank you Amma’s kitchen for the South Indian authentic taste.
Same issues was giving more importance and extra benefits for the big group and even told us to move to other table just because of the other group. Overpriced. Charging way too much for masala dosa.

Taste like home food. Food is very authentic.One of the best south Indian restaurant in Taiwan. Real taste of south india.
非常道地的印度風味，印度同事也是來自南印度，每次懷念家鄉味時總會帶我們一起來吃。濃濃的咖哩，不論是搭配雞肉、羊肉或是蝦子，都非常入味下飯。一次都可以吃上好幾碗飯，炒飯也是一絕，搭配多種香辛料獨特的風味真是讓人難忘，店裡的員工也都很好，很客氣，推薦沒吃過的人可以來店裡嚐嚐唷！
好吃，服務也非常好，如果要吃家庭號的dosa記得要提前預約，告知店家先備料
Ordered Delivery during Level 3 Lockdown:
Samosas are “mini-sized” (two of their samosas is one regular samosa that can be found in other Indian restaurants in Taipei) but still cost NT$220 for four. A big scam!
Dosa was burnt (to black) on one side. Had to throw a bit away. It was a pity because it actually tasted quite good. If you find yourself at this establishment, this is the one item I would recommend.
I called the restaurant but they refused to offer any help. Needless to say, this is the last time I’m going to try their food.

神奇的是, 店員不會中文,竟然也沒關係,,可以用英文,或是比手劃腳,至少也有翻譯機,溝通無障礙,服務仍可很親切…
隱身巷弄中的異國餐館，稍稍不注意就錯過。
好幸運能在公司附近發現這家小而美的印度餐廳～
第一次來因為是中午， 所以點了business jouée meal, 印度料理我特別喜歡吃蔬食的， 所以點了個咖哩蔬菜午餐， 用ㄧ個金屬鐵盤裝著， 有湯有甜點， 店家很用心， 白飯是ㄧ個臺灣島的造型～
另外還加點了masala 脆餅， 以及蔬菜炒蛋 還有最愛的masala tea~
巷子裡容易被錯過的店， 但是口味太好了， 屬於南印度的料理。 下次要回來吃dosa ❤️
不能帶狗也沒標示 白跑一趟
We went with high expectations for Indian food. Although the dosas were quite good and filling, we are very disappointed with the samosas that they gave. They were as small as a golf ball and just 4 pieces for 220NT$ which is heavily overpriced. You can visit for south indian food but a BIG NOO for north indian appetisers.
This is so far the best Indian food I’ve had in Taipei. The food is authentic Southern Indian cuisine, the chicken was cooked perfectly too. Would recommend anyone to come here.
Great Southern Indian delights! Was missing Dosa Kings in Bangkok but this definite hit the spot. Amazingly friendly front of house staff too!
This place was recommended to me by a foodie friend who goes quite regularly. Probably my favorite Indian restaurant in Taipei city now. Ok, I may be biased since they have something you don’t see at too many places – dosa!! And of course all the curries were good too. Don’t forget to try the fried peppers that are not spicy!
很道地的印度料理，一進餐廳就是撲鼻的香料味，不會讓人失望的餐廳！
中午到店內用，店內約有11桌座位可以坐。點菜的是個印度的男生，可用中文點餐，英文也通。
入座後桌上有一壺開水可以自己倒。
今天點✍️的是商業午餐的「羊肉咖哩」與「綜合蔬食」，另外加點了一杯檸檬汁。商業午餐除了飯、咖哩醬，另還附上馬鈴薯泥、湯、甜點。
推👍➡️羊肉咖喱，肉多軟嫩沒有腥味，醬汁微微的辣，調味算是特別。
綜合蔬食➡️醬汁也有點辣，調味挺香的，但沒有吃到肉覺得好像少了什麼。
附餐馬鈴薯泥➡️味道普通，有些許沒打碎的馬鈴薯增加不同口感；湯感覺加了很多香料個人比較不喜歡；甜點有西米露還感覺有加薑，有點辣。
檸檬汁$85➡️微酸且偏甜，跟飲料店的檸檬汁一樣還更貴，本來以為有含在套餐裡的但沒有，是要另外算錢的，建議不要點。
結論🩺
（1）咖喱調味特別，價格合理。
（2）店家開油鍋油煙味會飄出來，身上會沾染油味。
（3）沒感覺被服務到還要加一成服務費，這點在菜單上看不出來，結帳時才知道。
Both the chicken biriyani and masala dosa were delicious 😋 definitely worth checking out if you’re craving more Southern style Indian food!

Some of the best South Indian food I’ve had anywhere.
Rasam: intense, refreshing, not too salty
Bisi bele bath: fragrant, subtly spicy, rich but not too heavy or greasy; the lentil flavor comes through
Coffee: milky and sweet, noticeable brown sugar flavour, could be a little stronger but quite good
Payasam: very very fragrant, mellow, buttery, sweet but not cloying

Pani puri was really yummy. Dosa tasted amazing and crispy. Fish curry was okay. Kadai chicken was so so. Taste of the curries could be improved.

They changed their food a lot after I gave review…. Now it’s pretty good…. Thanks for changing…. I suggest people to go here and enjoy their South Indian food…. Really cool and tasty….

Worst food I have ever had. Used cheap tricks like watered down chutneys and extremely low quantities of sambhar with the food. Idlis were hard too.
巷子內的以南印度料理為主的印度餐廳。服務員跟廚師都是印度人，還不會講中文。雞肉燉飯，很是入味，但有點小辣，米是長米，還附有咖哩跟洋蔥優格。雞肉很嫩，附的咖哩倒沒那麼辣。
味道可能是不熟悉，覺得一般般。沒什麼嚐出驚艷的香料味，且味道不鹹不淡的如同清水一般。真不知道是何種服務讓他有膽收一成的服務費？
應該是不會再去試試其他家的印度料理了。

以口味來說，是目前為止覺得最好的一家，每個餐點現點現做，Pani Puri 超級酥脆新鮮，Dosa超好吃，我看樓下的評論好多人也提到它們家的Dosa 😋
不是太多人知道這家餐廳真的有點可惜，所以用力幫他們推一下，餐廳從外場到廚房清一色印度人，今天遇到一位外場中文好流利（居然才學18個月），好熱情介紹印度還有菜色。很愉快又好吃的用餐體驗
