Excellent food. Taste of South India in Taipei. Chicken Biryani a bit oily but super tasty. Dosa, idly very nice. Seems a bit pricey but is sweetened by on the house Rassam and yummy payasam. They even brought star shaped dosa for our young daughter and won hearts !!

Very good restaurant for those who love home-made south Indian style foods. A real and authentic test of south India one could expect here. The ambience is good and place is easy to find. Quite near to MRT station.
Filter coffee is the best. We also tried veg biryani and missed home 🙂
For those who are planning to go for the first time: be prepare to wait for a while. Once the order is placed for desired dishes, it will take a while to serve you, may be because of space constraint. However, waiting for a while will pay back in terms of quite delicious food. Cheers !!!

I wouldn’t have known about this place if my friend hadn’t taken me. The food was delicious! I recommend medium spicy as it was spicy enough. The lamb rice and masala were great! Also there was a yogurt dish that mixed well with rice. The owners even let me try a wonderful South India dessert. It’s good Indian food for a reasonable price. I believe they even have a business lunch special, but that wasn’t available during CNY.
Good Traditional South Indian restaurant in Taipei for the foodie.Their taste resembles the exact recipe of south Indian dishes cooked in home.Really enjoyed the Gulab jamun, dosa along with sambar ,coconut and tomato chutney. The taste was very nice. The tea also seems good. Planning to have tea and bhaji in the every evening.
Nice Indian food with interesting and complex flavors! Main courses, dosa and chapati are delicious and taste a bit different from other Indian restaurants in Taipei, which really impressed us and would like to visit again for some other new dishes.
The place is small but quite cozy and clean. It’s located inside an old building…we got a great sense of adventure while finding the way 😂😉
Fantastic service and wonderful food. I was taken aback by how rich and intricately spiced the food was. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in the neighborhood and among the best I’ve had in Taipei.

Had Best south Indian food, like idly, masala dosa and briyani!
目前這家是我個人台北的印度餐廳top 1, 推薦給也熱愛香料、喜歡複雜層次風味，不排斥道地印度菜的朋友。
在平凡街邊終於找到灰暗樓梯拾級而上來到二樓，一看到那個誇張裝飾的店門別懷疑就是這戶像某鄰人住處的入口。有點忐忑的推開門發現一屋子的印度人覺得很不好意思的穿過狹長空間來到櫃檯等待店主。
那天點了桑巴Samboot像燉菜咖哩；搭上各種香料讓我驚豔的Jeera rice。還有蛋燉飯botiyani(?)是會辣的香料烤飯，淋上洋蔥香料沙拉，分開吃也很讚。另外還有長得像西米露的米布丁，也是香料多到不可思議，而香料奶茶則是有薑味的層次俱足的小杯端上。這次還點了Chappatti (抓餅之類的), 下次想試洋蔥口味的。
最重要的是C/P值超高，兩人吃完吃撐平均一人四百塊!!!!!!!
克服各種外部障礙品嘗到這一餐真的太幸福了嗚嗚。

Taste of South Indian food in Taipei. It’s really awesome. Best Indian food I had in abroad. Idly, dosa, vada, briyani you get almost everything like in south India and especially like home food.
Much better alternative to Shida’s Out of India. The food is cheaper, but so much tastier. The service was excellent as well.
算很道地，但是太貴了~有些咖喱份量也不多，不是濃郁的類型，我算吃蠻清淡的，這家咖喱可以當湯喝，當醬料算淡，香料很好很多元，可以當作嚐鮮，但價格與份量，cp值不高，但店員服務非常好
相較於其他台北的印度餐廳，這家的風味最接近我曾經出差過的印度當地吃到的原味 複雜的香料，份量也算足夠
老闆跟服務生是印度人，如果可以用英文跟他們交談，會有一些很不錯的推薦

Dosa and idli with sambar, fish curry, chicken curry, mutton curry and chutney are awesome. the delicious briyani with raitha is the best one i ever tasted.

“Food is Medicine, Medicine is food.” I’ll always remember the passion in the owners eyes as he said these words. Definitely an excellent spot to enjoy a meal, especially if you’re looking for a solid introduction into South Indian Cuisine. The service is quick and more importantly very friendly. Very good Indian food, loved the chicken briyani. Comes with complementary soup and dessert too. Small but cosy place, friendly servers who will patiently explain the food and make recommendations to suit your tastes. One dosa is not enough, you’ll just have to order more to mop up all that yummy curry and dips that they give you.
Amma kitchen foods very wonderful.. My Taiwan journey India foods are very missing… But this feel ratified in Amma kitchen food today. Very wonderful and cleaning further taste is amazing… DoSa is very tasty 😃😃😃😃😃😆😆😆… Vada and Idly,,,, I feel in Amma taste… …
Extremely friendly staff, reasonable price. My friend, who lived in India for many years, says it’s authentic food, very home-like. I found it delicious and they even offered us soup and dessert. I will definitely come back.

Probably the most authentic Indian food I had in Taipei so far. A very cozy homey place hidden on the 2nd floor by Roosevelt Road. Yummmm!
